While it is true that good photos will bring back memories of your wedding day, there is nothing like having a wedding video to instantly transport you back in time to actually see and hear everything as it really was. A wedding day can go by so fast, and as the ones being married you often don't have time to take in everything as it happens. Having a wedding video made means you won't miss out on seeing all the effort that's gone into making your wedding day special.

I use a creative documentary style of production to ensure your wedding video captures the essence of the day. My style of filming is also very relaxed, and unobtrusive for the guests at the wedding.

I also take the time nessary to talk through your wedding with you and to accomodate any specific requests you have for your wedding video (this can be done on the phone if you are enquiring from outside Auckalnd).

Auckland Wedding Video Packages

1. The Wedding Ceremony $900+GST

Well before the ceremony starts I begin by capturing the atmosphere at the venue, the guests as they arrive, the groom and groomsmen as they excitedly await the brides arrival, and all the little things that might otherwise gradually fade from memory. I then capture everything that happens during the ceremony, the heartfelt words of those that speak, the unmistakable pride on the parents faces, and the honest expressions of love as the bride and groom exchange their wedding vows.

After the ceremony I video the guests as they offer their congratulations to the happy couple, and finish with the bride and groom as they leave to have their photos taken. The video footage of the wedding will then be edited together to approximately 30min in length and the final wedding video is presented on beautifully finished personalised printed DVDs.

2. The Wedding Ceremony & Reception $1450+GST

This package includes everything from the wedding ceremony but after the ceremony I then accompany you on the photo shoot to capture all the special moments between the bride & groom and the bridal party. At the reception I capture all the little things again, the design of the name cards, the menus, the wedding cake, the decorations, and the food. I then shoot the guests as they arrive and the bride and groom as they enter the reception to a great welcome from the crowd.

The atmosphere in the venue, all the speeches and the cutting of the cake are then covered as they happen, as well as anything else you have planned for the wedding reception. The video then finishes with the bride & grooms magical first dance. The video footage of the wedding will then be edited together to approximately 60min in length and the final wedding video is presented on beautifully finished personalised printed DVDs.

3. The Entire Wedding Day $1800+GST

The Entire Wedding includes everything from the other two packages but begins well before the ceremony with all the wedding preparations. The excitement before the event is captured as the bride and bridesmaids have their hair and makeup done. The groom and groomsmen dress and excitedly, or perhaps nervously prepare. This is a great chance to later see what the other half got up to before the ceremony.

A short video interview with the bride and groom can also be shot to record their feelings before the wedding and to answer a few fun questions. The interviews can later be edited into the wedding preparations to make a really enjoyable way to build to the big event. (If you would like some interviews I can discuss with you to find a good time during the morning preparations to record them).

Time during the preparations also provides a chance to capture some great comments and video messages from close family and friends. The Entire Wedding package also provides for any unusual events you have planned. Perhaps you will be arriving by helicopter, or in a horse driven carriage. Whatever you decide to do for your wedding, I'm happy to work with you to ensure it's captured on video in the best way possible. The video footage of the wedding will then be edited together to approximately 90min in length and the final wedding video is presented on beautifully finished personalised printed DVDs.

• Extra copies of your wedding video, including printed DVD, printed case and postage. $20+GST.

• A Wedding Music Video using footage from your wedding and set to a song of your choice. A beautiful way to capture the essence of the whole wedding day. The music video will then be added to your wedding videos DVD menu. $250+GST

• A slide show of up to 99 of your wedding photos set to the music of your choice and added to your wedding video DVD. $75+GST

• Wedding Credits added to the end of the wedding video listing all the guests and people involved. $75+GST

• Transport to a wedding venue outside Auckland. Price available on request.

• Original Mini DV video footage from your wedding. $20+GST/60min tape.

• A short 10-20min highlights DVD from your wedding video. (Makes a great gift for friends and family who couldn't make it on the day). $150+GST for first copy. $10+GST for each additional copy.
